Broke someone’s Heart…..

If you broke someone’s heart read this post.

If someone who loves you is disappointed with you, it doesn’t mean you have failed.  It means that you broke their trust and failed their expectations of “You”.

If you did something really wrong or committed a grave mistake, there is nothing you can do about it because you already did it. You cannot go back and change it. But what you can do is, you can take ownership and onus of the failure and do your best to respond to the effects of it

Don’t let this make you feel like a failure. Don’t let it break you and break the trust you have in you.

Trust yourself.

Become strong and stronger, keep going without losing faith in you. Because people will only start believing in you and trust you only when you first believe in yourself.

It’s okay if you lost trust and faith in you.

It’s okay if you broke someone’s heart (who is really close to your heart).

It’s okay because if you keep fighting and living up, they will come back, but if you let that break you,

you will lose them and eventually lose yourself too.

You can always start now. All you need to do is step aside and keep walking, one step at a time. As long as you keep going forward without losing trust and faith in you, it doesn’t matter even If you fall back, or are pulled back or stopped by your past mistakes.

All that matters is progress. Now how do you progress? You Progress by:

  1. Not repeating the same mistake
  2. Not getting your eyes off the prize
  3. Breaking down the big achievement into smallest possible bits because it is easier to bite off small pieces off a large chunk.
  4. Not counting how many times you failed, but counting and celebrating every small success you achieved.
  5. Not stopping

A Magnifying Glass has the power and potential to burn down a huge pile of paper but it can only bring out it’s true potentiality when it concentrates on trying to burn a small bit of paper in the huge pile than the huge pile itself!

Set a goal for yourself.

Have faith that you have the power to achieve it. Then break it down into smallest possible steps. Now, focus on one smaller task at a time, break it down further into smaller steps. Focus on completing this one small task and after you finish it, go to the next one. Keep going in the same manner. And you will observe that your big goal was not that big to achieve!
